Is the event dog friendly?
Dogs are allowed on property, but must be leashed at all times. Dogs must be friendly, quiet, and kept under control. Please pick up after your pets. We reserve the right to request any dog to leave the premises if they are unsafe, a disturbance, disorderly or unleashed.
What are the dates?
The Southeast Adventure Vehicle Expo opens Friday, March 1st, and runs until Sunday, March 3rd.
What are the event hours?
The show will be open for the following hours:
Friday: 12pm – 5pm
Saturday: 8am – 5pm
Sunday: 9am – 2pm
When can campers check in?
Campers can check in starting on Friday, March 1st at 9:00am – please bring an electronic or paper copy of your tickets.
What will the weather be like?
On average, the weather this time of year is between 60º-70º during the day, and between 50º-60º at night. We recommend coming prepared for all types of weather, rain or shine.
Do I need a ticket for my child?
Children ages 12 and under can attend the event for free.
if i am camping for the weekend, Do my passengers need tickets too?
Passengers need their own tickets – if you are attending as a weekend camper, all passengers need a Weekend Camping Passenger Pass. You or your passengers can purchase these in the “add-on” ticket section.
Does a weekend camping pass give me access to the event?
Yes – the Weekend Camping Pass gives one vehicle and driver access to the vendor area, the camping area, the raffle and all seminars. This pass does not include passengers. Passenger passes (sold separately), and Moto Passes give you access to the give you access to the same experiences and activities.
Can I bring a vehicle towed behind my rv or inside a toy-hauler?
Yes, RV’s and toy-haulers can bring an unoccupied vehicle – you must add a “Hauled Vehicle Pass” when purchasing your tickets.
Do I need a ticket for each day if i am not camping?
Yes, each day is priced differently and you will need a ticket for each day you plan to attend. Weekend day pass bundles are available.
Do you offer a military or First responder discount?
We are pleased to offer a 20% discount to active duty military, veterans and first responders on all entry tickets and course passes. Please reach out directly to tim@thesaveexpo.com to receive instructions on how to obtain your discount.
Does parking cost extra?
Parking is free!
Will you have handicap accessible parking spots?
We will have spots reserved for those with limited mobility and handicapped people.
How can i get around the event?
While our event encourages the utilization of vehicles and motorcycles for overlanding and adventure travel, we kindly request minimizing driving within the venue premises and when traveling to and from the camping area. For safety reasons, vehicles and motorcycles are not allowed in the exhibitor area.
To navigate the campgrounds, mountain bikes, electric bikes, and scooters serve as excellent alternatives. We will have electric bike rentals available from HVE Bikes. It’s important to highlight that ATVs, quads, or side-by-sides are strictly prohibited, except for those being used in demos with our vendors or those equipped with appropriate handicap placards, solely intended to aid low-mobility attendees in accessing sites.
Will there be food and drink options on site?
We will have food trucks available on site. Beverages will be available for purchase from our food trucks. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks.
Can I Fly a drone?
Drones are not allowed – any drones seen flying belong to media staff.

what type of vehicles can go on the obstacle course and off-road trail?
All vehicles enter our optional courses at their own risk. We do recommend vehicles be equipped with at least high clearance, off-road tires, and 4×4 for the obstacle course. The off-road trail is more relaxed, and we recommend off-road tires and high clearance. There are some obstacles on that off-road trail that can be bypassed if you are uncomforable.
Are off-road trailers allowed on the obstacle course?
Off-road trailers are allowed on the obstacle course and off-road trail, with a signed liability waiver. You enter the obstacle course or off-road trail at your own risk.
